So your favourite book is one filled with romance with inspiration on every page, but what if your favourite book isn’t traditionally one that relates to romance and weddings? We took Inspiration from childhood classic Charlie and the Chocolate Factory to show you that you can find inspiration in even the most unlikely of places. In the heart of Nottinghamshire we found a brand new wedding venue The pumping house, it is the perfect Chocolate Factory. The building and the windows stunned on arrival and would immediately make your guest feel like they had found a golden ticket.Bright candy colours, movie quotes and small sweet placements on the table will give your guests a nudge to the theme without it being over powered with obviously references. Champaign glasses with the rim dipped in chocolate and sprinkles is also a subtle and sweet reminder. When it came to the cake table we kept away from sweets but incorporated the same candy colours into the dripping icing and Donuts (Donuts are an up and coming wedding trend). The bridal makeup was kept youthful with nude colours, playful buns finished with a bespoke slide and tiara that was made up of pastel Swarovski Pearls, brought the colour palette into the brides look , they also looked good enough to eat!.As the evening reception arrives our bride changed from her stunning mermaid dress to a bridal jumpsuit, not only was this used to reflect Willy Wonkers suit but its also a great outfit for dancing and celebrating whilst still looking and feeling like a bride.
